Brent does an excellent job of helping couples to understand one another's needs.  He ties this to God's plan and uses this as a foundation to improve communication and intimacy between a couple.  Throughout his teaching he always focuses on the positive and does not seek to blame, only to improve and move forward.  Working with Brent has been an eye opening and positive experience that I would recommend to all married couples.

“Hiz and Herz” is a refreshing approach to a new journey. The incorporation of fresh ideas on stale talks surrounding relationships is amazing. As well, it is a new journey of getting to know God or knowing Him again.

Together, with Brent, our journey of "watering each others grass" would grow, flourish, and be ever so green on our side of the fence. Sometimes there is the making of a brown patch (problem) but the tools given to us allow the repair to be quicker with less hurt. The program you taught is very good and helpful, even though we have 30 years of marriage, we have learned and also practiced these few techniques to improve our behavior and correct patterns that are not very healthy for our relationship. At first we thought that we knew everything, and we did not need it, but after we started to take it, we know, review and practice many techniques and partner exercises: appreciation, apology, forgiving. It was powerful when we did the appreciation exercise; when we held hands, looking at each other in the eyes, my eyes filled with tears, how long ago I did not appreciate everything that my husband has done for me and our family. It was powerful and now we’re trying to do more often. We recommend all marriages to take it no matter how many years they have been married, it will help them in different ways, as it has help us. This was an answer to prayer from God.
